2Fly to Baltra. Transfer to Puerto Ayora and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Join cruise.

5Visit Floreana Island, Post Office Bay and Punta Cormorant.
6Excursion to Black Turtle Cove, Baltra Island and Las Bachas.
7-8Visit Rabida, Santiago and Bartolome Islands, including an excursion to Sullivan Bay.
9-10Return to Puerto Ayora and transfer to airport for flight to Quito.
11-12Fly from Quito to Lima. Free time in Lima
13Fly to Iquitos and visit Belén floating village. Transfer by boat to Tambo Yanayacu Lodge.
14Full-day to enjoy both jungle and river excursions.
15Optional jungle walk. Free time to explore Iquitos, followed by the return flight to Lima.
16City tour of Lima colonial centre.
17Fly to Cusco. Afternoon walking tour.
18Full day tour of the Sacred Valley, visiting the ruins of Qenko, Puka Pukara and Tambo Machay, Ollantaytambo and the Pisac market.
19Morning visit to Peru's Challenge. Afternoon free in Cusco.
20-21Train to Aguas Calientes. Visit Machu Picchu and take an optional swim in the hot springs. Return to Cusco.
22-23Drive to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Full day Lake Titicaca excursion including Uros and Amantani Islands. 
24Cross into Bolivia and head to La Paz via the ancient ruins of Tiahuanaco.
25-26La Paz city sightseeing. Trip ends in La Paz after breakfast (Fri).

The Peregrine Adventures tour (26 days) is slightly longer than the Intrepid tour (21 days). The two tours cover some of the same areas, except the tour from Peregrine Adventures also goes to other places such as: Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Peru. The tour from Intrepid Travel covers places such as: Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. 

The Peregrine Adventures tour is based more on nature -- trekking through the jungle and getting up close with sea lions and turtles. This tour is a lot more expensive than the other tour. It costs approximately $8189 in total. However, this tour is longer and also goes to a lot more other places and has more activities (more in the itinerary) compared to the Intrepid Travel tour.   

The Intrepid Travel tour is to see the beautiful scenery and learn more about the culture in those places. This tour costs $1240. Although the holiday is 5 days shorter than the other tour, it still covers many places and therefore, this tour gives you more value for your money.
